The Clinical Engineering Department delivers support to Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust. The support is delivered in the form of:
- Medical device pre-purchase acquisition assistance and advice, acceptance testing, maintenance, calibration and repair at Calderdale Royal Hospital, Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and all community locations.
- Medical device management, asset control/management, event co-ordination, database management, needs analysis and audit.
- Medical device pool maintains a working stock of high use and demand devices, available for use at all times.
- Medical devices training.
